UNIT 10: My Classmates
LESSON 1: PERIOD 1
Objectives
At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to ask and answer about characteristics of a classmate.

Structure: What does she look like? She’s short.

Warm-up
- Play the game: Slap the board
- Play in groups to slap fast

Pre
- Review all sentences in unit 9, introduce the name of unit 10: My Classmates
- Ask about part 1: look, listen and repeat, characters and where they are
- Ask to guess what topic they say in the picture
- Say and listen


- Listen

- Guess the topic.

While
- Say: Look part 1 and play CD to 2 times
- Say: Play CD and ask to repeat 2 times
- Call a model pair
- Give time for pair work
- Call some pairs to check and give comments
- Check to understand the content of the dialog: Guess what they say?
